What is Pancake Day?. When is Pancake Day?.

Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday, the last day before Lent. 

Pancake Day, also known as Shrove Tuesday, is a very special day for British people. They celebrate Pancake Day by making pancakes and eating them with lots of different toppings like fruit, chocolate, sugar or savoury food.

Pancakes are similar to our " filloas".

Pancakes races are held all over England. The object of this race is to get to the finishing line first whilst flipping a pancake in a frying pan.
