Understanding pie charts

Hi, dear kids in 6th grade !.

How many different kinds of charts or graphs do you know for recording information?. In our last English lesson we were talking about jobs. We collected information asking all the boys and girls in our class. We recorded the information in a tally chart. Now, put the information from the tally chart into a pie chart.The Pie Chart Maker is a free tool that allows you to create your own pie chart.

1.-First select how many slices your pie chart will have.

2.- After that , you will asked for the name for each slice and for the amount for each slice of the pie, then click on "make chart" .

3.- Post it on your blog.
