Somewhere over the rainbow

Hi guys,

This is the song I´ve decided to sing   with you to celebrate the School Day of Peace and Non-Violence this year  , a song about believing that there is a better place somewhere else and it can be attained if a person only holds out hope for it. Rainbows  are a symbol of peace, hope, and unity . It was written for the movie "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" . I love this song.

I´m singing in the rain

Summer Holiday

Hi guys,

We all need a break. Don´t you think so?.

"We're all going on a summer holiday

No more working for a week or two

Fun and laughter on our summer

No more worries for me or you

For a week or two..

We're going where the sun shines brightly,

We're going where the sea is blue,

We've all seen it on the movies,

Now let's see if it's true.

Everybody has a summer holiday

Doing things wanted to

So we're going on a summer holiday

To make our dreams come true

For me and you

For me and you".

This song is performed by Cliff Richard. It´s a good song to introduce the summer holidays topic. It´s great to use it together with the summer holidays speaking activities.I hope you like the song that we´re going to sing on the last days of school before the summer.
