Earth Hour 2014: Be a superhero and save the planet

Hi guys,

It's time to switch off the lights during Earth Hour. Millions of people around the world switch off their lights for Earth Hour  on the last Saturday of March each year. Turn out your lights for Earth Hour on Saturday, March 29 at 8: 30 pm and be a superhero and help to save the planet.

* Watch this year´s video !. Pocoyo has been helping Earth Hour for the last 3 years  by encouraging kids to switch off the lights to turn on the Earth, planting trees and clearing the oceans of trash.

We Heart Trees

Hi kids,

Every year, Knock, Inc creates a new way to spread the message of planting more trees, using less paper products and  recycling paper.  Check out We Heart Trees, KNOCK 2013 cam­paign in cel­e­bra­tion of Arbor Day, a site that asks you to design your own vir­tual trees while also pledg­ing to be more con­scious of their paper usage.

Earth Hour 2013

Hi guys,

If you love our planet, just turn off your lights for 60 minutes from 8:30 pm to 9: 30 pm next Saturday, March 23 in support of Earth Hour. Together our actions add up!.

The official 2013 video features the track "Without You" by David Guetta and Usher, providing an upbeat soundtrack to match the celebration of this year's event across the world.

Heroes of Water Saving- Water Project H20ooooh!

Water is essential to life on planet. Yet we often treat it like there is an infinite supply. It's time to get educated about the value of water and how you can protect this important natural resource. World Water Day is held every year on 22nd March to remind people about the importance of water and encouraging the sustainable management of water resources. 

The characters of this animated video become heroes by saving water. Watch this video and you will learn many ways to save water.

Celebrate Earth Hour with Pocoyo

‘Dare the World to Save the Planet’ is the theme of this year’s Earth Hour from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on March 31. Earth Hour is a period during which we are called upon to switch off lights (and may be other appliances) to highlight our commitment to save the Earth.

For the second year in a row, Pocoyo is the Global Kids´Ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund´s Earth Hour. If 10,000 children play Pocoyo´s Recycling game. Pocoyo and his friends will plant 10, 000 trees for Earth Hour.

International Year of Forests

The United Nations has proclaimed 2011 the International Year of Forests.
Forests cover 31% of the land area of Earth and are home to two-thirds of the world's land-based species of plants and animals. Loss of forest worldwide has been linked to endangered species, climate change and increased levels of greenhouse gases.I think that with appreciation comes respect, and with that respect, we can work together to create a happier and healthier Earth. Earth Day .
