St. Patrick's Day is a great chance to learn about another culture.
For St. Patrick’s Day, some of the world’s most stunning landmarks will turn a beautiful shade of emerald green. In A Coruña, our famous lighthouse the Tower of Hercules will be lit up in the colour green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It´s time for the greenest day of the year!
Many people wear green clothes on this day because green is the colour of Ireland and the green shamrock leaf is a symbol of St. Patrick and Ireland. Irish people say a shanrock brings good luck.
